On Monday, November 25, 2019 we will be holding our next meeting at Gregg’s Restaurant, 1303 North Main Street, Providence. Our table is reserved from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. We would expect the program to begin at 6:00 PM.

We are still working on an agenda. I can give a first hand account of the new flexible dining aboard the eastern long distance trains together with a summary of the NARP Council Meeting in Sacramento. The Congress appears to be moving towards a resolution of the Transportation Appropriations for 2019 and hopefully this will be finalized by our meeting. Several of us attending Transit Forward RI open houses and this would be ripe for discussion. Last, we are hoping to arrange a speaker. Other topics abound.

As you know from previous meetings at various locations of Gregg’s, it has an extensive menu. Since this is a Monday night, the package deals are available where for $2.99 extra, they throw in a dessert and beverage (which can include beer and wine) to any entrée ordered. The only cost to participants will be for the food that they eat.
