Providence Station Site Design Unveiling

This Friday, March 22nd the site design for the Amtrak's Providence rail station will be unveiled. The ceremony will take place at the Providence station at 100 Gaspee St. and will start at 11:00 AM EDT. The site design improvements will be announced by Governor Lincoln Chafee, Senator's Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse, Congressmen Jim Langevin and David Ciccilline, RIDOT Director Michael Lewis, Amtrak representative Tom Moritz, and Providence Mayor Angel Taveres.
The public is invited but because of limited parking the use of public transportation is encouraged. Use of the commuter train is encouraged and please RSVP with Heidi Gudmundson at RIDOT.
